It should come as no surprise by now that we at Griffin enjoy spending a lot of time in the classroom, and speaking directly with teachers and technology directors to learn more about their needs as they integrate technology into the classroom. It’s with those conversations in mind that we’ve added some features to our popular rugged case Survivor and create a new product developed with feedback from education in mind. Check out our new Survivor Slim for iPad Air case!
Like our popular Survivor iPad Air case, the Survivor Slim is designed to pass rigorous tests for shock/ drop, vibration, and windblown dust and rain, as defined by the Department of Defense in its MIL-STD-810G standard. In addition to mil spec testing, the Survivor has proven itself over and over to protect devices from the dangers of the classroom and your students as well! The new Survivor Slim provides the same tried and true protection, but in a slimmer profile that will make it easier to transport as well as fit in many multi-device charting solutions you may already be using.
We know how hard asset management can be – both when the devices are being rolled out and on a daily basis – so we made the back of the case clear for easy asset tagging. Now you can tag it once and actually use it without having to remove the device from its case every time.
The original Survivor comes with a stand, but we heard that sometimes students were losing those stands. To address that issue, Survivor Slim for iPad Air has a built-in stand, meaning your students won’t have to worry with keeping up with lost parts. Anyone planning to use an iPad for PARRC or SBAC testing should be happy to hear this!
We’re excited to share this new product at ISTE 2014 in Atlanta, so be sure to stop by booth #3360 to check it out. If you can’t make it to ISTE, feel free to email us at education@griffintechnology to learn more about Survivor Slim for iPad Air with clear back and the rest of our products for education.
