We need YOU to make PowerMate beta, better, beta…
Calling all betatesters Application Design Assessment Engineers…
Do you love tinkering with stuff ’til it breaks? Yeah? Then, have we got a deal for you.
We’ve been hard at work on our venerable and esteemed PowerMate software to optimize it for Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard), and we think we’ve got a solid candidate lined up. This is where you come in. It’s time for it to prove its mettle in the real world. Or at least that part of the real world where betatesting takes place.
We need 50 volunteers
We need 50 volunteers to put the new, new, newer than new PowerMate software through its paces. To accept this mission, in addition to being in tip-top mental and physical condition (not really), you must be running Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard); and you must be in possession of both a PowerMate USB controller and an adventurous soul. You must keep reasonably detailed records of your beta experience. (And send them to us. Word.)
Note: This is a beta test. Make sure all beta test gear is locked and loaded, and beta test mode is fully enabled. Know your beta test gear and know it well; it can save your life. Standard disclaimers apply: We do not recommend running beta software on the machine that contains the only viable copy of your nearly-finished doctoral dissertation. As always, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. Good luck, Jim.
Email us with your contact details for more information. THANK YOU!
