Griffin and Crayola Introduce the Next Generation of Digital Art, with Crayola DigiTools
Kids can create works of art on iPad, with special effects including 3-D, airbrush, and glitter
Nashville, Tenn. – October 15, 2012 – Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, and Crayola, whose products have inspired artistic creativity in children for more than 100 years, announce the availability of Crayola DigiTools for iPad. DigiTools are creative tools that allow kids to unleash their imagination and produce colorful designs with special effects, including 3-D, airbrush, and glitter.
Each DigiTools pack includes the tools to create dazzling digital effects, a clip-on carrying case, and an app download that provides pages of virtual background scenes and animated stamp designs. DigiTools give kids a variety of ways to express without the mess.
Four different DigiTools packs are available, giving kids plenty of ways to get creative. Kids can create 3-D art on the iPad with Crayola’s DigiTools 3-D Pack. The DigiTools Effects Pack gives kids dazzling art effects, from glitter designs to magical color changes. The DigiTools Airbrush Pack lets kids create wildly colorful digital spray art. And the DigiTools Deluxe Pack combines all of these tools so kids are equipped to create artwork with an abundance of effects.
DigiTools 3-D Pack allows children to create art that "leaps" off the iPad. The dual-tip Digital 3-D Tool and the Digital Stamper create awesome eye-popping designs and animated 3-D images. Comes complete with 3-D glasses for kids to watch in awe as artwork pops off the screen.
With DigiTools Effects Pack, young artists can create dazzling art effects on the iPad. Three different tools help kids create beautiful, shimmering masterpieces. Use the Digital Crayon for stunning glittery designs, the Digital Color Changer to make swatches of shimmering colors that magically change, and the Digital Stamper to add sparkling, animated images to scenes in an instant.
Children can create wildly colorful, digital spray-art on iPad with the DigiTools Airbrush Pack. Using the Digital Airbrush, kids can select Crayola colors to create amazing freehand virtual spray art effects. The app features a variety of stencils for kids to color in using the Digital Airbrush. The Digital Rainbow Roller makes large swashes of gradient color appear, and the Digital Stamper instantly adds animated images to scenes.
The DigiTools Deluxe Pack combines tools for all three apps, so kids are fully equipped to create artwork with a variety of effects. The Deluxe Pack gives kids these creative tools in one cool collection: A Digital 3-D Tool and 3-D Glasses for eye-popping designs, the Digital Crayon for dazzling drawings, the Digital Airbrush for virtual spray-art effects and a Digital Stamper for instant, animated images.
The Crayola DigiTools app enables young artists to create masterpieces with the touch of a finger using virtual crayons, markers and colored pencils in real Crayola colors. DigiTools 3-D Pack, Effects Pack and Airbrush Pack each come with an app download, and the Deluxe Pack includes all three apps. Download the DigiTools app then unlock the magic using the Digital Stamper included in each set. Once kids’ colorful masterpieces are complete they can be saved, e-mailed, uploaded to Facebook, and printed directly from iPad to any AirPrint-enabled printer.
