Griffin Announces Case Line-Up and Giveaway of New iPad

New iPad collection spans military-duty cases to minimalistic designs, with options for all types of users

The collection includes:

Survivor Military-Duty Case ($79.99): Survivor is Griffin’s most protective case available, designed to meet or exceed US Department of Defense Standard 810F. Survivor is built on a shatter-resistant polycarbonate frame, clad in rugged, shock-absorbing silicone. This combination of materials protects against dirt, sand, rain, shock, vibration, and a host of other environmental factors. The case is available in Pink and Black.

IntelliCase ($59.99): Features protective polycarbonate for added durability in back along with flexible TPU to protect the tablet’s Multi-Touch display. IntelliCase folds into a 2-position upright or inclined workstand, at optimum angles for tapping or reading. Integrated magnets hidden in the cover automatically wake the iPad when the flap is opened and put it to sleep when closed. IntelliCase for iPad is available in Peacock, Black, Midnight and Dark Red.

Elan Folio ($49.99): This classic slim, one-piece folio flips open for quick access to the Multi-Touch display and closes like a book for privacy and protection. The cover folds to provide landscape and portrait positioning, with easy access to all ports and controls. Elan Folio, part of Griffin’s Spring Case Collection announced at CES 2012, is now available in new designs for the new iPad. Elan Folio Cabana comes in vibrant teal or red, complemented by tan and white stripes. Elan Folio Crackled has the well-aged look of distressed paint; and Elan Folio Aged combines crisp canvas with nicely-worn leather accents.

Passport ($29.99): Like Elan Folio, the Passport starts with a slim, compact design but adds microsuede lining to protect the iPad from scratches, smudges and abrasions. Passport flips open like a book to reveal the Retina display of the new iPad, and closes for privacy and protection. An elastic band closure secures the cover shut for use on the go. Available in Red, Black and Brown.

AirStrap ($49.99): AirStrap features a wide neoprene strap on the back to hug the hand, making iPad-viewing easier and more secure, while the other hand is free for tapping. Easy-to-grip contoured edges surround the thick molded frame, combining functionality with reliable protection. Comes standard in all black.

Outfit ($29.99): For a minimalistic, super-slim design, check out Griffin’s Outfit. This durable hard polycarbonate shell snaps onto the tablet’s back, warding off dings and dents while providing full access to ports, connectors and controls. Outfit even works with Apple’s Smart Cover, and the iPad retains its slim profile. Available in Smoke and Clear.
