Griffin + Chilewich Unveils Elan Form Chilewich for iPod touch
Nashville, TN — July 21, 2010 — Griffin Technology Inc., maker of ingenious ways to power, play, protect, and connect, today unveiled an expansion in their partnership with Chilewich | Sultan LLC, with Elan Form Chilewich for iPod touch. The new case, based on the best-selling case for iPhone 3GS, is now available in three colors, including new Turquoise and Aluminum, at Apple Retail Stores.
“Griffin and Chilewich, together, have created a case unlike anything else on the market, both in terms of style and quality,” said Paul Griffin, founder and CEO of Griffin Technology. “We are pleased to introduce Elan Form Chilewich for iPod touch, as well as new colors, to this popular collection.”
Elan Form Chilewich begins with a durable and impact-resistant Griffin-engineered polycarbonate shell. Chilewich Mini Basketweave woven vinyl fabric is wrapped around the shell, resulting in a case that is both rugged and beautiful. The woven textile is easy to keep clean and designed to look great for a lifetime. The two-piece Griffin EasyDock™ design provides access to all controls and ports, and allows quick docking without removing the case. The result is a distinct combination of style, comfort, and durability for iPod touch.
The Griffin + Chilewich Co-Op Initiative today introduced two new colors: Turquoise and Aluminum. These colors, in addition to classic Gravel, are available on Elan Form Chilewich for iPod touch. In any color, Elan Form Chilewich remains the essential complement to a fashionable tech lifestyle.

About Sandy Chilewich
Sandy Chilewich, the entrepreneurial and artistic spirit behind HUE, the hosiery firm she co-founded in 1978 and sold in 1991, opened her namesake New York-based studio/textiles laboratory in 1997. She introduced her next design-quake with RayBowlTM in 1997. In 2000 Chilewich introduced mats for the tabletop and the floor and bags for all sorts of uses - the first of her durable, easy-to-clean, woven vinyl designs in an assortment of colors and textures. That initial, wildly successful launch spawned an expanding range of products for an ever-greater variety of applications; today the washable vinyl textiles include those made of spun, tufted, and pressed vinyl. www.chilewich.com/about/sandy
