Griffin to Host Live Painting of Papernomad Wall Mural at CES 2014
Papernomad’s new and existing lineup will be showcased at Griffin’s CES booth (LVCC, North Hall Booth #5306)
Nashville, Tenn. – December 17, 2013 – Griffin Technology, one of the world’s foremost creators of innovations for everyday life, welcomes notable street artist DiscoTeck to their CES 2014 booth to create an oversized mural on a wall constructed entirely of Papernomad cases. Papernomads are designed from specially engineered paper that is water-resistant and tear-resistant. It is both unbelievably durable and the perfect blank canvas for personal expression and creativity. Griffin will affix approximately 60 Papernomads for iPad, iPhone and laptop sleeve models to the exterior of their booth upon which DiscoTeck will create a custom installation.
CES attendees can check out Griffin’s booth on the first day of CES, January 7th, to watch DiscoTeck in action as he paints the Papernomad mural using acrylic paints and paint markers. The art installation will be on display throughout the week, and during the last day of the show, January 10th, Griffin will be giving away these one-of-a-kind cases every half hour.
DiscoTeck is a designer from London that is currently based in Los Angeles working for the streetwear clothing brand DTA / Rogue Status. Along with DiscoTeck's live painting, CES attendees can check out Griffin's new Papernomad Tootsie Folio for iPad Air. Each case within the Papernomad collection is ready to be drawn on with pencils, pens, and paints for the ultimate personalization. Not only is Tootsie for iPad Air designed to be a work of art, it has been created with minimum impact on the environment.
Tootsie Folio is created with Papernomad’s patented paper composite, a wool blend lining and a natural hemp fiber closure-strap, all sewn by hand in Europe. Embedded magnets in the strap hold the folio closed or folded into a stand for viewing and typing. A magnetic strip on the interior of the folio grips the iPad’s built-in magnet and works with two corner straps to hold the iPad Air securely in place.
Tootsie Folio for iPad Air, $69.99, will be available March 2014 at www.griffintechnology.com/papernomad.
